Again, the Nestucca River was in perfect shape to fish flies. We had a two boat trip today and each boat landed their share of steelhead. The action was evenly spread out over the course of the day and everyone enjoyed watching their friends from the other boat hooking up. We landed some really nice fish, all chrome-bright, one even had sea lice, and the all fought exceptionally hard. Supposedly we have some heavy rains on the way, but if not fishing should remain excellent.
