Oregon Coast Fishing Report: December 5, 2009
With the cold and dry weather on the Oregon Coast water conditions are ideal for fly fishing for early winter steelhead. Today we fished the Nestucca River and hooked into three winter steelhead on the fly. One was a gorgeous native hen and the other two were Alsea strain hatchery fish and nice additions to the fish box. Look for numbers of steelhead to improve as the month continues towards Christmas. Give us a call to book a trip, light tackle or fly, either are exciting methods to enjoy these special fish.
