It's definitely winter steelhead time, when your guides don't stop icing up until noon and your finger tips are still burning long after you are off the water. The Coast needs some rain right now, but don't be discouraged, there is a trickle of steelhead still entering the rivers. Factor in the low, clear water, the cold conditions and the luke-warm fishing reports circling the internet and that can give the brave angler access to some chrome-bright, unpressured fish. The numbers might not be spectacular, but a day on the river, hooking into a few fish while having no other anglers in sight can make for a great day. Give us a call to book a pre-Christmas fishing trip to take advantage of some quality steelheading. There's no better way to get away from the madness that is the holiday season.
